In collaboration with Dr. Jeff Marck and Nana Ayim Poakwah of the Hunger Alliance of Ghana, Global Breadfruit delivered close to 1,000 breadfruit trees to Ghana in 2011. These were distributed to farmers and villages in the Accra and Somanya areas of Ghana to create awareness for this crop as a solution to malnutrition and hunger in this equatorial country.
